Touched down

Well, here I am in Korea! I am sitting with the tour director waiting for the rest of the group to arrive from LAX. The flight was crowded and long, but uneventful. We had bibimbop for dinner, but I opted for the omelet for breakfast instead of the rice porridge. The Korean Air Skyteam are like Korean Rockettes. I swear they are all at least 5’8″, thin, beautiful, and not a day over 25.

I pushed fluids the whole flight, but I still felt like my airway was shriveling from the dryness. I was seated behind three young children and their two mothers, and next to two Chinese women, one of whom was a mouth breather with bad breath. I managed to sleep a bit, and I watched “Blue Valentine,” “The Adjustment Bureau,” and part of “The Fighter.”

On the baby front, I am pretty sure my bladder function is deteriorating by the hour. I seem to need a bathroom all the time now. However, still no morning sickness, and no fatigue that seems worse than the usual jetlag.

Today is supposed to be an easy day. I look forward to a meal that doesn’t come in plastic trays, a shower, and laying down in a bed.

The bladder thing may have something to do with the flight. I had major bladder issues during the Korean flight I took. Maybe air pressure in the cabin? Good idea for pushing fluids!
